I carried a bunch of small sunflowers home from the farmers market a few weeks back. The petals dropped slowly and they're so pretty that I just couldn't sweep them off without taking a few pictures first. I snapped a few pictures early this morning when the sun was still in the east and as the sun moved across the sky the petals cast thin shadows across my desk and the leaves went dark.
