weekend field trip to Marin for a hike up Mt. Tam and big picnic at the top. I packed my hot tea and kitchari for the day and when I showed up at my east bay friends house in the east bay they offered homemade chicken and waffles, d'oh. I resisted the temptation but had to remind myself this is why they had so much energy... think of little kids after a Halloween candy binge. After a day of hiking we headed to Fairfax to explore and pick up a treat or two. Ei ended up with ice cream from Fairfax Scoop and everyone else noshed on sausage and pretzels at the local bike pub while challenging me to a game of Connect Four, I'm the reigning champion!
